Jim Jarvis - Over 25 Years Experience in Texas Family Law

Jim Jarvis has practiced Family Law in Georgetown, Round Rock and all of Williamson and Travis Counties for over a quarter century. Mr. Jarvis was awarded the Certificate of Special Competence in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in 1994, and his limited his practice primarily to divorce and other family law cases since that time.

Jim Jarvis has strong roots in the Georgetown, Round Rock and Austin area. He came to Georgetown at age eighteen to study at Southwestern University, where he graduated summa cum laude in 1977. Jim continued his education at the University of Texas Law School in Austin, achieving his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree in 1980.

Jim Jarvis has lived and practiced law continually in Georgetown since 1981. He has remained active in the community throughout the period of tremendous growth in Georgetown, Round Rock and the entire Williamson County area. He has served on the Board of Directors of LifeSteps (formerly, Williamson County Council on Alcohol & Drug Abuse) since 1984.

Associate Attorney Farah Ahmed joined the firm in 2010.  She handles all types of family cases, and consults on immigration matters, especially as they may relate to family law.
